Twins

Aren't these two little kiddos the cutest??!? They are the best of friends! One of their newest activities is running around holding hands ... my heart breaks every time I see them. It is just so cute! My grandmother bought them these adorable matching outfits.

We received very disappointing news this week - Mark and Vicki have bought a house and are moving away. Obviously this is good news for them ... but I have shed my fair share of tears :) I will miss having them around - and I know Kiera will too! (Seth and Maddy will too; although, Seth has already texted one of his friends to see if their family would like to move into the apartment :D) I guess we will just have to make the most out of the next two months while they are still with us! Playdates every day!

May

May has come and gone. It went by so quickly! I love spring and want to make the most of each day - enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the creation in which we live. The weather definitely took a turn for the better this month - we had some beautiful sun shiney days and not too much rain. Seth and Maddy spent the majority of their days outside - having lots of fun! The mosquitoes have not yet arrived, so they can play wherever they wish.

Greg made a new swing under the deck. I bought lots of rope, hoping to suspend the swing from a tree... we have lots of trees surrounding our property, but none of them (aside from the one hanging over the driveway!) had branches that were think enough for a swing. So, under the deck it went - and a big hit it has been! It gets lots of use. Maddy took a while to figure out how to use it (without falling off), but now that she has mastered it, she has just as much fun on it as Seth does! Since there is over ten feet of rope holding this swing up, I'm sure we can make another swing so they can enjoy them at the same time!

Climbing the atennae! No fear here! He made it to "sixth base". Maddy had a l

Maddy made it to "first base". Not quite as daring yet. Probably a good thing, too!

We finally made some progress on our outside plans this month. Our septic has been having issues for the past few months, so we had it removed and a new one put in (tank and bed). The back yard was then levelled, the driveway made a little bigger, the garden made bigger, and some stone/pebbly sidewalks put in. Kiera enjoyed watching Uncle Rick working away in his machines. (She pulled the chair up to the window herself, then stood there waving at him).

 Mmmmm.... pizza supper!

Our little goofball! She made this amazing discovery this month - the world looks so neat upside down!

We had a few hot days this month - yay! Seth and Maddy searched for shade so they could eat their snack - and this is what they came up with (never mind the fact that our entire deck is in the shade all afternoon - this is way more fun!) Seth and Maddy tend to wear as few clothes as I will let them get away with - Maddy is actually wearing Kiera's bathing suit here! They had some fun playing in the sprinkler. I set the pool up for them too, but they are afraid of cold water so it didn't get too much use.

 My big little helper.

Going for a walk!

My big little helper (part two :D)

Our sandbox has been getting lots of use (which means the vacuum cleaner is also!) All three kiddos love to dig and build - and it is fun to see where their imaginations lead them! I am so thankful for a big sandbox!

Although I don't have any pictures of it, Seth and Maddy also love to play on our swing set. It has a landing with a steering wheel, review mirror, and stick shift - which means it is anything from a train to a plane. They have gone on many adventures (together and with friends). All three kids also love to swing ... I could spend many hours pushing them!
