Snyder's Family Farm

We were blessed with a beautifully warm week near the end of October, so the kids and I took advantage of it and spent a day at a local(ish) pumpkin patch. The weather was gorgeous and there was lots for the kids to do. This made for happy kids and a happy mom!

Climbing up hay bales.

 Playing in (on??) the tunnels.

Bouncy balls. Seth LOVED this part!

Kiera's favourite - a random lawn tractor.

We were reading the book Mirette on the High Wire during this week, so this balance beam was a perfect feature.

The Corn Maze. Seth was our fearless leader.

And, of course, pumpkin picking! Kiera hauled this wagon all the way to the field and all the way back again. Not too much stops her when she is determined!

 Looking for the perfect pumpkin.

Mom trying (once again) to get a nice picture.

There was also a tractor ride, a train ride, a big playground and a few farm animals. All three kiddos had a great day and were sad to leave. Thankfully a bank mix-up had me sitting in the bank before we left for the pumpkin patch, which resulted in Seth and Maddy receiving some crayons and a colouring book, which made for happy travelers.
Thankful for beautiful weather, healthy kids, and the ability to have some fun!
